In the Edit Only Pending Trades panel, you can change a transaction's status and enter a comment about the change. You can update transactions with a Pending, Hold, or custom status. You can use this panel only to edit pending trades; it does not allow you to release them.

To edit pending trades:

  1. In Accounting Center, in the left navigation pane, click Transactions > Trades > Pending Trades > Edit Only Pending Trades.
    You see the Edit Only Pending Trades panel.
  2. Complete the options in the Edit Only Pending Trades panel and click Submit.
    You see information for the transactions that met your criteria in the Show All tab.
  3. Select the row for each transaction you want to update and click Change Selected Trade Records.
    You see a row for each transaction you selected in the Change Selected Trade Records tab.
  4. Update each transaction that you want to change. You can update the:
    - Transaction Status field by selecting a value of Pending, Hold, or a custom status. 
    - Settle Instructions 3 field by entering a comment.
    - Performance Effective Date field for an equity or mutual fund trade by changing the transaction’s effective date used for performance measurement purposes.
    The remaining fields describing the transaction are locked, and are for information only.
  5. Click Submit.
