Moved User Administration Permissions Under Center Roles

User Administration permissions are now controlled by the User Administration Center Role. This enhancement aligns User Administration permissions with how permissions to all other Eagle Centers are controlled. In User Administration, click Center Roles in the left navigation. The list of Centers is displayed and User Administration Center now appears on this list. You can create many different roles to customize User Administration permissions to fit your company's needs. You can assign users to the User Administration Center role exactly the same way as you assign users to other Center roles.

This enhancement simplifies how User Administration Permissions are defined. Previously, a user account had an account type defined as either User, Operator, Advanced User, or System Administrator. During user setup, you had to assign the user one of these types in the Functional access step. In addition, if you selected the type of Advanced User, you also had to specify a User Administrative Role. This role controlled to what extent you could perform certain administrative functions such as add or edit users or view or edit business groups, or PACE roles.

With this enhancement, the old concepts of User, Operator, Advanced User, and System Administrator account types, as well as User Administration roles, are no longer necessary and have been removed since these permissions are now all defined with the User Administration Center Role.
