System Management Center allows you to access the overall system management and diagnostics functionality of the Eagle product suite. System Management Center provides a robust, integrated, and intuitive solution to facilitate Eagle system configuration, issue diagnosis, and Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) (data lifecycle) management. By using System Management Center, IT teams can better manage Eagle environments and improve quality of service offered to their business counterparts.

With System Management Center's new technical operational capabilities, you can improve efficiency and reduce technology risk:

  • Reduce cycle time of issue resolution and promote client and internal self-sufficiency.
  • Reduce technology risk by driving configuration best practices.
  • Improve efficiency in system performance.
  • Strive towards proactive alerts to prevent issues before they occur.
  • Position to support Eagle ACCESSsm growth and operational scale. Optimize how multiple environments can be supported through a single, consistent toolset.

In System Administration Center, you can manage the following:

  • Environment. Manage the configuration of your Eagle environment.
  • Diagnostics. Manage and run system queries, extract Eagle Accounting BLOBs, consolidate and distribute system logs, and much more.
  • System Settings. Manage system settings across the entire Eagle product suite, including email settings, engine capacity groups, database connections, system parameters, and much more.
  • Cross Product Suite Tools. Manage features that are also used by other Eagle centers.
  • Rules.
  • Engine Manager.
  • Data Retention.
  • Advanced System Settings. Access the Eagle Classic modules for advanced settings.

Background and History

In V10, Eagle started a multi-release initiative around System Management capabilities. The first release was targeted at consolidating years of field experience and diagnostic scripts and know-how and encapsulating them into one intuitive UI. Over 200 queries were added to provide greater clarity into diagnostics, capacity, tuning and configuration. The focus was to provide a tool that cuts through the need for requiring detailed Eagle expertise and empowers customer's IT team with the capabilities to better manage their Eagle environments and improve quality of service offered to their business counterparts. A key objective was to reduce the need for customers to build third party scripts and schedules required to manage their Eagle environment. Eagle continues to focus on reducing this cost and effort for Eagle customers and drive technical operational efficiencies at Eagle ACCESS.

System Management Center minimizes the need to involve and escalate requests to your specialist IT teams, it also provides the tools required to accelerate support by providing access to hundreds of queries that can be scheduled and distributed via a number of channels in a variety of formats.
