The Silent Migration Wizard allows you to migrate an Eagle data file (.EGL files, not .ZGL files) into an environment without logging into PACE. You can migrate any .EGL file from a specified directory into a destination environment using the Silent Migration Wizard. A Migration Wizard log is created during migration and placed into the same location as the migrated .EGL files.

This functionality supports after-hours processing, allowing you to deposit a set of .EGL files into the specified directory and begin the silent migration process manually or by using a third party scheduling tool. Once the silent migration process is complete, you can review the Migration Wizard log.

You can use the Silent Migration Wizard to migrate any component that you can migrate manually through PACE. You can also export components using the Silent Migration Wizard. You specify the components you want to export in the *export .ini file, and the Silent Migration Wizard generates an .EGL file for the exported components from the source environment.
