Cancel Offset Bank Settlements
If you use the Cash Matching workspace to offset a bank settlement in error, you can cancel an offset bank settlement to make that bank settlement available for matching. After you cancel an offset bank settlement, you can view the bank settlement in the Manual Matching tab of the Cash Matching workspace, and that bank settlement is also available for automated matching.

To cancel offset bank settlements:
- In Accounting Center, in the left navigation pane, click Transactions > Cash > Cash Matching.
You see the Cash Matching workspace. The Manual Matching tab is active by default. - Select the Matched & Suspended tab.
You see STAR accounting settlements in the center grid. - On the Cash Matching tab, in the Actions group, click Cancel Offset Entry.
You see the Cancel Offset Entry panel. - Specify the Begin Date and End Date values in the date range for the offset bank settlements you want to cancel.
The dates identify the bank settlement's update date rather than their effective date. - In the Query Filter list, select Yes if you want to narrow down offset bank settlements by additional criteria. Otherwise, select No.
