Reference data drives how Eagle Accounting can and will process a security. This section provides conceptual information about how to correctly set up and maintain fixed income security master data, along with other reference information needed for Eagle Accounting processing. It discusses individual fields on the Security Master Record: what they are, what processing they are involved in, and how they work together to drive processing in Eagle Accounting. It provides examples of correctly established security master records. And it discusses auxiliary reference information, such as variable rates and schedules. For detailed information about using Reference Data Center to manage reference data, see Reference Data V17.
