About Processing Cash Projections
You can create a cash projection manually using the Cash Projections Viewer tool. You can also set up a schedule for the system to automatically generate a cash projection.
About the Cash Projection Status
A cash projection has one of the following current status values. You can view a colored icon that represents the status for each row in the Cash Projections Viewer grid.

About Cash Projection Detail Level Information
Cash projection results show the Start of Day settled cash balance and Current Day settled activity for each settlement currency for all accounting bases. In the Projection Detail tab's Balance Type column, you see values of Start of Day Settled Cash, Current Day Settled Activity. Current Balance, and Activity. The sum of the Start of Day Settled Cash balance and the Current Day settlement activity is the Current Balance.
About Segregated Cash Projections
If you use cash segregation, the Cash Projections Viewer tool can generate segregated cash projections. You can create segregated projections when you select an entity that uses cash segregation and you choose the entity's custody (CUST) accounting basis.
When you run a projection for the custody basis, the Cash Projections Viewer's Projection Detail tab shows the Start of Day settled cash balance and Current Day settled activity for each cash account as well as settlement currency.
Each cash account has its own Start of Day settled cash balance and Current Day settled activity. The results also show additional data fields such as cash account, principal, and income.
