Eagle Job Management (EJM) is Eagle’s rules-based, comprehensive data integration framework that simplifies communication with third party systems, supports industry standards, and provides messaging capabilities. EJM leverages EagleML, Eagle’s canonical model, so that client Enterprise systems can communicate and exchange data with Eagle in a standardized manner, no matter in what format the data is being stored.
With EJM, you can process data driven workflows in Eagle applications that receive, enrich, validate, and publish data for use by client Enterprise applications, trigger Eagle events from third party applications, and trigger third party application processes from the Eagle product suite. You can use EJM to initiate a third party application process such as a web service. EJM is intended to complement, and not compete, with workflow engines and BPM architectures. Eagle’s next generation data integration capabilities leverage modern open XML technologies to facilitate and accelerate interoperability.
Using the multiple transport protocols available in the Eagle product, you can integrate workflows with larger SOA initiatives. The Eagle technology stack can also provide mediation of data. For example, you can validate, enrich, and publish a set of securities acquired from a vendor over FTP to a message bus for other applications in the enterprise to consume.
