Turning on/off a server or its processes can be harmful for other users,working on it. Please make sure you notify the appropriate users in advance before performing the actions below.

Note

When the region has several instances, Restarting Message Center can mean only re-initializing Message Center cache.

To restart Message Center please keep to the following steps:

  1. Launch Engine Manager.
  2. Go to All Web Servers.
  3. Expand the active web server marked with green.
  4. Expand the folder of the active (green) THICK client and select Web Control in the Eagle App Services Web Control folder.
  5. Click the Stop MessageCenter Processes button in the EagleSTAR Web Control Panel tab.

    All the rules should be displayed as “Not running” and the Details for them should be: “Has been stopped successfully, PID: [number of PID]”.
  6. To activate Message Center click on the Start MessageCenter Processes button in EagleSTAR Web Control Panel tab. All rules should change their Status to “Running” with the following Details: “Has been started successfully, PID: [number of PID]”.
  7. Click the Status MessageCenter Processes button in the EagleSTAR Web Control Panel tab. All rules should be “Running”.
  8. Repeat steps 2-7 for all enabled web servers.

Not all accounts support displaying all instances.
