Edit a Performance Fee Expense

In the Edit Performance Fee Expense panel, you can change a performance fee expense. You can change the Trueup Spreading Method field and the Accrual Update Option field values for a performance fee expense. Both options affect how the system creates subsequent entity fee rules for the performance fee. If you need to change other options for a performance fee expense, you can create a new performance fee expense with different options. 

To edit a performance fee expense: 

1. In Accounting Center, in the left navigation pane, click Setup > Expense > Performance Fees > Edit Performance Fee Expense.
   You see the Edit Performance Fee Expense panel.
2. Specify the criteria to select the performance fee expense that you want to edit.
   For example, you can identify the entity/accounting basis and primary expense account name for the expense you want to edit. The panel displays the remaining criteria for the selected performance fee.
3. In the Effective Date field, specify the date that your changes become effective.
4. Complete the remaining options in the Edit Performance Fee Expense panel.
   You can change the Trueup Spreading Method field and the Accrual Update Option field values. 
5. Click Submit.
