Data is displayed in an Eagle workspace in a table of rows and columns called a grid. The grid tab on the ribbon provides an assortment of controls that enable you to:
- Quickly select the data set shown in the grid with filters for item type, groups, or custom filters.
- Add, remove, and reorder grid columns for each field in the current list of data.
- Find a value that exists as part of a set of data.
- Sort the data set by a single column or create a custom sort with multiple columns.

Freeze Columns | Keeps the first column or the selected column visible while scrolling through the remaining data columns. | |
Unfreeze Panes | Unlocks all columns, enabling you to scroll through the data. | |

Grouping | Group by | Groups the grid by a column. |
Ungroup | Ungroups all columns. | |

Expand All | Expands all rows in the grid. | |

Sort and Filter | Ascending | Sorts data in ascending order. |
Descending | Sorts data in descending order. | |
Custom | Enables you to create multiple custom sorts for the grid. | |
Custom Filter | Enables you to create custom filters for the grid. | |
Clear Filters | Enables you to create custom filters for the grid. | |
View | Show | Displays row numbers and vertical gridlines. |
Compare | Enables you compare two or more rows by displaying your selections in a dialog box with options for highlighting differences in the data. | |

Settings | Restore Defaults | Clears custom settings that were applied to the grid. |
