The final dialog of the process suggests to choose between the two formats available.

  • MC Package – the solution will be exported in standard Message Center Editor style, with package files and sources in /tpe/ folder. This MC package can be then imported by the means of Message Center Editor.

  • Solution Bundle – creates a single file with .eis extension also known as solution bundle. It contains all exported files and can be imported only by IWS.

Enter a name for your package or bundle in the Main file name field, specify an informative description (optional).
Enter a folder path or navigate to it using explorer.

Export as MC Package process is performed right in the store folder. It does not create a separate folder for each solution exported. As a result you will get files referring to different solutions stored together in the /tpe/ folder, which may be inconvenient. Therefore, the best practice here is specifying a separate store folder every time you export a solution.
