You can create up to nine custom, or user-defined, performance statuses that Eagle Performance treats can treat either as it does preliminary Preliminary statuses or as Final statuses. That is, Eagle Performance can recalculate Performance System Parameter 45 can be set to Y or N.  The default setting is N and allows the recalculation of any performance records assigned a custom performance status.   When set to Y custom statuses are treated as Final and are locked down and cannot be overwritten.

When adding custom performance statuses, create a code value with a short description of the number 1 to 9 and a corresponding long description that describes the status. Add the codes with short descriptions that indicate the workflow order in which you process the statuses. For example, if you add statuses 1 (Under Review), 2 (Reviewed), and 3 (Waiting for Marketing Approval), Eagle Performance assumes you use a workflow order of:

  • P – Preliminary

  • 1 – Under Review

  • 2 – Reviewed

  • 3 – Waiting for Marketing Approval

  • F – Final

To create a code value for a custom performance status:

  1. From any Eagle window, click the Eagle Navigator button to access the Eagle Navigator.

  2. Enter Codes in the Start Search text box.

  3. Click the Codes (ETL Center) link to access the System Management Center.
    You see the Codes page.

  4. Click the code, IPERFSTATUS, which has a long description of Performance Status.
