In the Cash Projections Viewer, you can run the following reports for a selected cash projection:

  • Monthly Summary Report. Displays monthly activity and balances, based on the period duration specified when you created the cash projection.

  • Cash Projection Summary Report. Provides a daily summary, grouped by asset currency.

  • Cash Projection Details Report. Displays cash projection details by currency and payment date. It also provides details such as transaction type (for example, Cash Dividend), coupon amount, and maturity date.

The Cash Projection Viewer includes several right-click options that do not appear in the ribbon. Lisa Restle says that actions (verbs) typically belong on the ribbon. Should the ribbon include options for these items that become available when you click a cash projection in the grid? Or are they action rules that cannot show up in the ribbon or in the Action Rules area?

There is a separate Export Projections to ISTAR panel that you can access via Reports > Cash Projections > Export Projections to ISTAR. Can you use that panel with the context of a selected projection? I cannot locate report panels for the other options.Run the Cash Projection Monthly

To run the Cash Projection Summary (Monthly) report:

  1. In Accounting Center, in the left navigation pane, click Reports > Cash Projections Viewer.
    You see the Cash Projections Viewer workspace. 

  2. In the Search Details pane, search for a specific cash projection. 
    In the grid, you see the cash projections that met your search criteria. The icon to the left of each row identifies the current processing status of the cash projection.

  3. Right-click the cash projection, point to Show Report, and then click Monthly Summary.
    You see the View Report - Monthly Summary tab.

  4. In the Report tab, use the options to print or save the output, change the onscreen layout, or navigate through the report results.

Cash Projection Summary report:

  1. In Accounting Center,

do one of the following: 
- In

Transactions

  1. Reports > Cash

 > Cash Projection Viewer > Open Cash Projection Viewer.
- In

  1. Projections Viewer.
    You see the Cash Projections Viewer workspace. 

  2. In the Search Details pane, search for a specific cash projection. 
    In the grid, you see the cash projections that met your search criteria. The icon to the left of each row identifies the current processing status of the cash projection.

  3. Right-click the cash projection, point to Show Report, and then click Show Summary.
    You see the View Report - Show Summary tab.
