In the Securities workspace, you can attach a document or comment to a security.

To attach a document or comment to a security:

  1. From In the Reference Desk workspace from the left navigation, click Securities in the left navigation.
    You see the Securities workspace with all the available securities.
  2. Click the View By drop down and select Security.
  3. Complete the required search criteria and click the Search button.
    You see the search results based on the criteria you selected.
  4. Select the security you wish to attach a document or comment to and click Attach/Comment.
    You see the Attach/Comment dialog box with the list of comments and attachments currently in effect for the security or exception. You can double click document name and open the document for review.
  5. Click Add New.
    You see the Add New dialog box.
  6. Complete the options on the Add New dialog box and click Save.
  7. Click Save.
    You see the Securities workspace with all the available securities.

To delete a document or comment from a security:

  1. From In the Reference Desk workspace from the left navigation, click Securities in the left navigation.
    You see the Securities workspace with all the available securities.
  2. Click the View By drop down and select Security.
  3. Complete the required search criteria and click the Search button.
    You see the search results based on the criteria you selected.
  4. Select the security you wish to delete a document or comment from and click Attach/Comment.
    You see the Attach/Comment dialog box with the list of comments and attachments currently in effect for the security or exception.
  5. Click the X button to the right of the listed comment/document.
    You see the Reference Data Center dialog box asking you to confirm the delete.
  6. Click Yes.
  7. Click Save.
    You see the Securities workspace with all the available securities.
