The Commit Journal allows you to manually change the return status of committed performance data. Your ability to approve or disapprove returns is granted in PACE User Security. With the appropriate privileges, you can assign performance data a status of:

  • Preliminary. Data can be recalculated.
  • Final. Data is locked down and cannot be recalculated. Setting the status to final means the return is approved.
  • Custom. You can track additional performance statuses that occur after Preliminary and before Final, if they have been made available in PACE.

You can change the status assignment of a single entity or multiple entities.
