In Accounting Center's Exceptions workspace, you can use Automation Center's Exceptions workspace to access, manage, and reconcile exceptions and manage exception rules related to Eagle Accounting without leaving Accounting Center.
Using the Exceptions workspace, you can:
Search for and view all exceptions related to Eagle's accounting solution.
Assign exceptions related to accounting to different users and manage assignment rules.
Manage exception status for exceptions related to Eagle's accounting solution.
Resolve exceptions related to Eagle's accounting solution with the Quick Fix feature.
Reprocess and close out exceptions related to Eagle's accounting solution.
Manage error codes, action rules, and processing rules related to accounting exceptions.
Export exception information to various file formats.
To access Accounting Center's Exceptions workspace:
In Accounting Center, in the left navigation pane, click Processing and Exceptions > Exceptions.
You see the Exceptions workspace.Use the Exceptions workspace to mange accounting exceptions.
The workspace include the following panes:
- Exceptions Summary. Displays the exceptions summary time frame and exceptions statistics by status, by message type/subtype, and by code.
- Exceptions Search Detail. Criteria used to search for exceptions.
- Summary of Exceptions. Displays the exceptions for the specified search criteria.
- Exception Detail Snapshot. Displays error details for the selected exception.
- Exeption Details. Includes Exception Details, Exception History, and Engine Details tabs.
- Asset ID.
- Stream Name. Provides message details for the event associated with the exception. Includes Summary, Status, Incoming Message, Outgoing Messages tabs.
Each time you open the Exceptions workspace, the system performs the default queries for the summary totals, exceptions, and exceptions details and displays the results.
