In the Create Sink Schedule panel, you can create a mandatory announcement for a Sink Schedule type corporate action. You can create the announcement in the Corporate Action table when you first set up the security, or the system can create the announcement for you when you use the Add Schedule dialog box to create a sink schedule in the Schedule table.

The Create Sink Schedule panel does not allow you to manually add a corporate action announcement associated with a custom sink schedule. The system creates those announcements for you in the Corporate Action table when it creates the custom sink schedule in the Schedule table.
