The User Status column shows the status of the Oracle account. This information is pulled directly from the Oracle database.

IS THE INFORMATION ON THIS PAGE STILL CORRECT? No. There are only two statuses. 'Expired' and 'Expired & Locked'

The following statuses can be displayed in the User Status column:

  • OPEN indicates the account is active.
  • LOCKED (TIMED) indicates the account is locked.
  • EXPIRED (GRACE) indicates the account will expire shortly. If the user logs into Oracle directly, it will indicate exactly how many days remain before the account will expire. This is typical if your Oracle password must be changed shortly.
  • EXPIRED indicates the account is expired.
  • EXPIRED & LOCKED indicates the that account is expired and locked on the Oracle side.
Info
titleNote
The one exception is that a new Oracle account will show be displayed with an EXPIRED status until the user logs in with their his temporary password and changes it.
