This enhancement simplifies how User Administration Permissions are defined. Previously, a user account had an account type defined as either User, Operator, Advanced User, or System Administrator. During user setup, you had to assign the user one of these types in the Functional access step. In addition, if you selected the type of Advanced User, you also had to specify a User Administrative Role. This role controlled to what extent you could perform certain administrative functions such as add or edit users or view or edit application roles, business groups, or PACE roles.
