The ability to allow Advanced Users with specific User Administrative Roles to access DB Users is as of V2015R2.11. Prior to this version, you must be a System Administrator as there was an issue that did not allow Advanced Users to see the DB Users area under User Administration Setup even if they were granted the appropriate permissions. |
On the User Administrative Role level, you can specifically grant users who have this role can be managed by users who have been assigned the UA Admin role in the User Administration Center role.
In Center Roles, you can use the User Administration roles to specifically grant users access to any or all of the following: View DB Users, Create DB Users, Edit DB Users, Lock/Unlock DB Users, and Delete DB Users.
In the example below, the user is an Advanced User who has the User Administrative Role of "DB USERS LOCK-UNLOCK ONLY".
To review which permissions have been granted to the "DB USERS LOCK-UNLOCK ONLY" User Administrative Role, access the Users and Site tab where you can see that the "DB USERS LOCK-UNLOCK ONLY" role has been granted rights to View DB Users and Lock/Unlock DB Users only, as shown below:
