In the List NII New Periodic Distribution Rules panel, you can view the list of ledger accounts included in the one or more net investment income (NII) rule.WRITER'S NOTE: Old panel is called List (NII) Distribution Rules. New Panel is List New Periodic Distribution Rules, which does not make sense. The procedure below assumes the correct name should be List NII Distribution Rules.distribution rules.
To view a list of NII distribution rulesof accounts included in an NII distribution rule:
- In Accounting Center, in the left navigation pane, click Setup > Fund Accounting > Periodic Distributions > List NII List New Periodic Distribution Rules.
You see the List NII New Periodic Distribution Rules panel. This panel allows you to view all, NII, or periodic distribution rules. - In the Rule Type field, select NII to view a list of accounts for an NII rule.
You can also leave the field blank to include all types of rules or select a value of Periodic to view periodic rules. - In the Chart of Account Name field, specify the name of the chart of account specified on the master fund entity.
- In the Rule ID field, specify the net investment income rule identifier for the rule you are listingif you want to list results for a single rule.
- In the Accounting Basis field, specify the accounting basis if you want to list results for a single basis.
- Click Submit.
You see the results that met your criteria in the Show All tab. NII rules have a rule type of N.
WRITERS NOTE: this panel was misnamed. It was formerly named List Distribution Rules. Now it is named List New Periodic Distribution Rules yet it allows you to view both NII and Period type rules.
