PDC assigns a release level to each entity it processes. PDC determines the release level based on the number of exceptions for specific fields in the policy for an entities policyentity. It assigns a release level and an optional validation to fields.

Portfolio Data Center is prepopulated with a four-level hierarchy (level 0-level 3). To modify descriptions and add or remove levels, edit the list of code values.

Display Options

The summary window enables you to view which funds are fully (vs. partially) released. Each release level has a corresponding color-coded symbol, as shown in the following figure.:
