To audit manual changes to an entity:
- In Portfolio Data Center, from the left navigation, select Portfolio Desk workspace, and click the appropriate entity category in the left navigationtype.
The entity workspace opens, displaying the available entities for the category.Complete the required You see the Summary workspace of the selected entity type. - Provide details about the entities you want to audit in the search criteria and then click click Search.
PDC displays You see the list of entities that meet the search results based on the criteria you selected. - Click Select the entity you want to audit from the Summary workspace and then click the Audit icon in the main ribbonHome tab.
The You see the Entity Audit window opens, displaying any historical changes by field, including the original value, new value, and the user ID and date time stamp for the change. If the entity has no history, the window opens, displaying the following message: No Data to Display.To return to the entity workspace, close the Entity Audit on the bottom tabthe list of historical changes made to the entity. - The window displays the entire creation, updation and deletion changes of the entity by change type, old and new value, field name, the valid time period of the override, type of edit and the updated user name & date. Also it displays the history of entity tab configurations, if any, for the entity.
