In the Data Quality Monitor, you can manually override the status of validation rules for one or more records using the Update Status feature.
Manual overrides are automatically updated to the latest status generated by the event of a rerun of the Performance Calculation or Automation Center. Manual Overrides are overridden by Status Override Rules with Rule Override.

In Data Quality Monitor, you can also override the status of validation rules by applying an override rule for a single day or a date range. Applying a date rule ensures that the updated status will not be changed in the event of a rerun of the Performance Calculation or Automation Center. Notes:

  • The Date Range option is only enabled when you select a single Effective Date, Entity, and Validation Rule.
  • You cannot override an approved rule for the same entity and validation rule that overlap the same effective dates
  • You can override a pending rule with a different pending rule for the same entity, effective dates, and validation rule.

In the System Management Center, you can control the permissions for functions associated with the Status Audit functionality. To maintain permissions, go to the System Management Center, select Performance Center Roles, and then click the Data Quality Monitor tab. The options in the Data Quality Maintenance section are described below.
