You can manage Reference Data Field Settings in the Edit Field wizard. Here you can define field settings, manage field groups, manage validations and configure data strategies for Reference Data fields.

Create New Linked Fields

You can create new linked fields.

To create a linked field:

  1. In the Setup workspace, in the left navigation, click Metadata>Reference Data Field Settings.
    You see the Reference data Field Settings workspace with list of available date rules.
  2. Click the Linked Fields tab.
  3. Click Create New.
    You see the Create New dialog box.
  4. Select a Classification matrix from the drop down list and then click Ok.
    You see the Create New Linked Field wizard.
  5. In the Name box, enter a name for the linked field.
  6. Optionally, you can enter a Description for the field.
  7. Under Classification Matrix levels, select the matrix levels from the drop down list.
  8. Click Save & Close.
