You can use the Accounting Center's Global Process workspace to run a global process manually. For example, you can submit the Approve Margin panel to perform global processing that approves variation margin.
To run a global process manually in Accounting Center:
- In Accounting Center, in the left navigation pane, click Processing & Exceptions > Global Processes.
You see the Global Process workspace. In the left navigation pane, you see global process categories such as Cash, Earnings, and Expenses. - Click a category and then click the name of the global process that you want to run.
For example, click STAR to PACE Direct Processing and then click Transfer Data - Batch. You see the panel for the selected global process. - Enter the criteria for the selected global process, and then click Submit.
You see the status of the event loopbacks in the Loopbacks pane at the bottom of the panel. The Loopbacks pane in each global process panel has a Total Generated column that identifies the number of loopbacks processed. It includes a column for each processing status, such as Total Pending, Total Processed, Total Rejected, and Total Overridden. If the system generated no loopbacks (that is, the system found nothing to process), you see a message that no loopbacks were produced. The following figure shows the Transfer Data - Batch panel. - To review the results for a specific event's loopbacks, click the row on the Summary tab, and then click the Details tab.
You see the loopback details for the selected event. Notice the Staus column shows the colored icon for the loopback processing status. - If you want to view the selected lookback details in their own separate workspace, click

To run a global process manually in Automation Center:
- In Automation Center, in the left navigation pane, click Automation Desk > Monitor.
You see the Monitor workspace. - Under Select Type, click Loopbacks.
Loopbacks is selected by default. - On the Home tab, in the View group, click Action Rules.
You see a list of categories for available global processes, such as Expenses, Earnings, and Settlements. If you created your own action rules for use in the Monitor workspace, you also see categories for those action rules. Point to a global process category, and then click the name of the global process you want to run.
You see the panel for the selected global process.- Enter the criteria for the global process, and then click Submit.
After you submit the panel to run a global process, you see the status of the event loopbacks in the Loopbacks pane at the bottom of the panel. - If you want to view the selected lookback details in their own separate workspace, click

Research and Resolve Loopback Details
when You Run a Global Process ManuallyAfter you run a global process manually, you can review the results for the event's loopbacks in the pane at the bottom of the global process panel. You can research additional also review loopback details using the Global Process workspace om Accounting Center or the Monitor workspace in Automation Center. You can research several types of information about the loopback details with a Rejected status. Then, depending on reason for the rejectionthe type of loopback and the reason it was rejected, you can attempt to resolve the issue, wait for another team to resolve the issue, or take other actions.
The exact workflow you follow to research and resolve a rejected loopback depends on many factors, including the type of event, the reason why the loopback was rejected, who is responsible for correcting the issue, and your organization's operations practices. Some examples illustrate this. In one example, the general operational guidelines. Here is one scenario. The loopback fails due to a missing FX rate. You can see , according to the error description for the loopback details that you see in the Exception Details tab, along with message details. If authorized, you can then use the Exceptions workspace to perform a Quick Fix for the event that needs repair, which supplies the missing rate and resubmits the rejected event. In a second examplescenario, the loopback fails due to an accounting period missing for an entity/basis. You can see the error description for the loopback details in the Exception Details tab, and, If if authorized, you can then add the missing accounting period in Accounting Center. You can then use the global process panel or the Global Processes workspace to manually resubmit the global process for the appropriate criteria and ensure it processes successfully.

To review results for a global process that you ran manually:
- Run a global process manually in Accounting Center or Automation Center.
After you submit the panel, you see the Loopbacks pane at the bottom of the panel. - Click

For each rejected row, the Status column shows Rejected. - Right-click the rejected loopback detail row, and then click Show Loopback Details.
You see the Loopback Message tab for the selected loopback details row. If the loopback is Rejected, you additionally see the Exception Details tab Click the Exception Details tab.
The Exceptions Details tab provides a snapshot of what is in the rejection queue for this message. You can select the following three tabs:
- Message Details. Provides information regarding the data elements and their associated values. Shows Tag ID, Name, and Value.
- Message Text. Shows the cryptic tag/value data sent to the engine
- Error. Describes the error that occurred.- While you research loopback details, you can do the following:
- Show and hide message and exception details associated with loopback details
- View the message stream for the loopback details
- View exception details for a loopback with a Rejected status
- Close a rejection directly
- Override the loopback status
- Print or export loopback data
- Refresh loopback data
- Change the maximum number of loopback detail rows - If you want to open the rejection queue to research and/or repair a rejection, you can:
- Click Exceptions in the left navigation pane to open the Exceptions workspace, where you can review and/or correct the problem that caused the rejection.
- Click Show Exception to open tthe Exceptions workspace to display only the exceptions for the selected loopback detail. This option is available only if you use Automation Center to review the loopback details.
