Create Field Groups

In the Create New Field Group page, you can add a field group. <insert field group definition here if it does not already appear previously under the Manage Field Groups page.>

Define the Validations

In the Price Validation's wizard's Define page, you can define the field group. 

To define a field group:

1. In the Setup workspace, in the left navigation, click Field GroupsValidations.
   You see the Field Groups workspace with the current list of field groups.Click Create Newthe Validations workspace with Validation page displayed.
2. On the ribbon click Create New and from the drop-down, select Price.
   You see the Create New Field Group page with the Define tab selectedValidation wizard.
3. In the ID box, enter a unique identifier.
4. In the Name box, enter a name for the field group.
5. Optionally, You can click the Description box and enter a description of the field group.
6. Click Process this
7. Click to indicate that the validation is Enabled.
8. In the  Data Type listto Validate, click a data type from the list. Options include:
   - Security
   - Analytics
   - Ratings
   - Variable Rates
   - Third Party Cash Flows
   - Prepayment Time Series
   - Issuer
   - Issuer Analytics
   - Issuer Ratings
   - Relationships
   - Roles
   - Price
9. In the Ownership/Management box, type or select the business group that has the ability to manage data for the data strategy
10. Optionally, Vendor Data.
11. Click Next.
12. You can select the All fields added to this field group must remain together check box to keep all fields together.
13. Click Next.
    You see the Fields tabpage.

Security Criteria

 In the Create New Field Group pagewizard's Fields tabpage, you can select the fields for the field group. 

1. Click the Select Fields list.
2. Select the check box for each field that you want to include in the field group.
   When you select a field, it appears in the Fields & Order area.
3. Click Next.
   You see the Data Strategy tabpage.

Define the Data Strategies

In the Create New Field Group pagewizard's Data Strategy tabpage, you can select the data strategies for the field group. 

1. Click the Select Data Strategies list.
2. Select the check box for each data strategy that you want to apply to the field group.
   When you select a data strategy, it appears in the Data Strategies area.
3. Click Save & Close.
   <OPTIONAL> <OPTIONAL SENTENCE> The system creates the new field group and adds a row for the field group in the Field Groups workspace.
