The Reset Total Return Swap Reset panel allows you to reset the current price of the underlying security of the return leg for the next valuation period. The system uses all of the information in the Security Master File or the manually created schedule to determine the day's price used to reset the swap, generate the payment, and reset the notional. The reset process recalculates the accruals to date if the coupon on the accrual leg is not paid at the same time.
To reset a total return swap:
- From any Eagle window, click the Eagle Navigator button to access the Eagle Navigator.
- Enter Global Process Center in the Start Search text box.
- Click the Global Process Center link to access the Global Process Center.
You see the Global Process Center. - In the left navigation, double click Total Return Swap Reset and Total Return Swap ResetIn Accounting Center, in the left navigation pane, click Processing & Exceptions > Global Processes > Swaps > Reset Total Return Swap.
You see the Reset Total Return Swap Reset panel. - Complete the options on the Reset Total Return Swap Reset panel.
- Click Submit.
