In the Cash Projections Viewer tool, you can insert or delete manual adjustments for a cash projection.

Insert Manual Adjustments

You can insert a manual adjustment for a cash projection. This allows you to record that a future deposit or withdrawal will occur at some point during the projection time frame. 

Note

Be aware that when you recalculate a projection, you delete all manual adjustments for that projection.

To insert a manual adjustment for a cash projection:

  1. From any Eagle window, click the Eagle Navigator button to access the Eagle Navigator.
  2. Enter Cash Projections Viewer in the Start Search text box.
  3. Click the Cash Projections Viewer (Accounting Center) link to access the Cash Projections Viewer tool. You see the Cash Projections Viewer workspace.
  4. In the Search Details pane, search for the cash projection you want to adjust. 
  5. In the grid, click the cash projection.
  6. Click the Projection Summary tab or the Projection Detail tab, and then click the row you want to adjust.
  7. Click Insert Manual Adjustment.
    You see the Manual Adjustment window.
  8. Complete the options in the window. 
  9. Click Submit. 

Manual Adjustment Window Options

In the Manual Adjustment window, when you insert a manual adjustment for a cash projection.

Projection summary query
Autorefresh data every XX secondsSpecifies, in seconds, how often the system refreshes the data. To enable this option, you select the check box and specify the number of seconds after which to refresh data. The default value is 60.
Show projections with 0 amountIndicates whether to display projections that return a zero value. Select the check box to show projections with a zero value.
Period durationIdentifies the number of days in the cash projection period. This value affects the default value calculated as the Report End Date. For example, if you enter a value of 30 days, the cash projection period is 30 days from the specified Start Date. The default value is 30.
Create projection
Default scheme

Identifies the Eagle Accounting solution to use for the cash projections. Options include:

  • ESTAR. Default. Uses the ESTAR database for Eagle's investment accounting solution.
  • ISTAR. Uses the ISTAR database for Eagle's insurance accounting solution.
Project Net Dividends

Select the check box to create projections net of withholding tax. The check box is selected by default.

Write log on calculation projectionSelect the check box to record a log of projection activity. The check box is cleared by default.
Pending ActionsSelect the check box to include corporate actions with a Pending status in the projection, along with corporate actions with a Released status. The check box is cleared by default.
SMF Projections

Select the check box to include future corporate actions based on SMF data in the projection, along with corporate actions with a Released status. The check box is selected by default. If you clear the check box, ???

Delete Manual Adjustments

You can delete a manual adjustment for a cash projection that you created using the Insert Manual Adjustment option. 

To delete a manual adjustment for a cash projection:

  1. From any Eagle window, click the Eagle Navigator button to access the Eagle Navigator.
  2. Enter Cash Projections Viewer in the Start Search text box.
  3. Click the Cash Projections Viewer (Accounting Center) link to access the Cash Projections Viewer tool. You see the Cash Projections Viewer workspace.
  4. In the Search Details pane, search for the cash projection with a manual adjustment that you want to delete. 
  5. In the grid, click the cash projection.
  6. Click the Projection Summary tab or the Projection Detail tab, and then click the row with a manual adjustment that you want to delete.
  7. Click Delete Manual Adjustment.
    You see the Manual Adjustment window.
  8. Review the options in the window. 
  9. Click Submit.
