Panels are text files that contain instructions for the panel processor. For example, you can use a panel to add a price to the database or book a trade. Panels can also perform arithmetic calculations and display errors and warnings during data entry.
Panels allow you to:
- Add, edit/change or delete data
- Run queries (lookups or reports) against the database
- Display errors
- Calculate new information based on existing data in the panel
