To reject the override posted to a composite field: 1. From
- From the Reference Desk workspace, click Securities in the left navigation.

- You see the Securities workspace with all the available securities.

- Click the View By drop down and select Exception.

- Complete the required search criteria and click the Search button.

- You see the search results based on the criteria you selected.

- Select the exception you wish to reject and click Edit.

- You see the Edit Security window with the Security Details tab selected.

- Select the exception for the reference data type you wish to reject.

- Click Reject.

- You see the Needs Authorization dialog box with the list of fields that have been overridden and require authorization by a manager.

- Select the exception override you wish to reject and click Reject.

- You see authorization status for the exception override change from Require Approval to Rejected.

- Click Save. The system displays a blue exclamation mark to indicate the override was rejected.

- Close the Edit Security bottom tab to return to the Securities workspace.
