In the Metadata Manager, metadata types refer to specific types of the available metadata, for example, database columns, field attributes, or Message Center streams. You can view, edit, add, and delete types. You use the Editing Type window to edit existing metadata types, the New Type window to add new metadata types, and the Types window to view and delete metadata types. NOTE:
