To force a match between a trade and a confirm: 1.    Select

  1. Select any unmatched record in a query result, right click Locate Confirm.

Cancel a Blotter Trade to Resolve a Break

To cancel a trade in the blotter tables: 1.    Select

  1. Select any unmatched record in the reconciliation query result.

  1. Right click Cancel Trade.

  1. The system marks the trade cancelled.

NOTE: The trade is only canceled in the blotter tables. The trade is still a valid trade in the accounting system. For proper correction, perform your cancel in the accounting system and download to the blotter tables. The system then matches the cancel against the original trade, which allows for the re-entry of a corrected trade.
