Portal Configuration Options

You can configure your Portal website using PortalConfiguration.exe instead of EagleConfig.exe. Use Eagle Portal Website Configuration to configure the following options:

  • Communication. Set Application Server and file transfer options.

  • Troubleshooting. Set debug logging options,

  • General. Set options for Portal session timeout due to inactivity or Web site ID if not using the default web site.

  • Login. Set options for Integrated Security or RSS feeds that display on the Portal login page. If you are configuring the Portal website to use Integrated Security, only Header type is now supported. Set Delimiter to \, Enabled to True, and type AUTH_USER for Header.

Managing

Manage Settings in Portal

Use the System Configuration option on the Settings menu in Eagle Portal to globally manage system configuration settings. The system configuration settings are stored in the database and are not overwritten when you upgrade Portal.
