Chart Options

Specifies the type of chart you want to create. Options include:

  • Pie

  • Line

  • Bar

  • Bubble

  • Column

Series is available if you selected a charting option such as line. This allows you to specify the number of series for your charts

Results

  • All Results. Specifies all results to return for the part.

NOTE:
  • For SQL dashboards, you can add multiple column sorting criteria with the Add New Sort By option.

  • Show First n value where n is the maximum number of results to return for the part. This setting limits the amount of results returned at the security level. If you created a dashboard part of the Top 10 Holdings, you may limit the number of results to show the first 10.

Advanced Options

Specifies the name of the XSLT code to use to transform or parse, the XML file for the part. Eagle provides a generic XSLT code that parses dashboard part data. You can modify this code or replace it with other XSLT code to change the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) rendering. This selected value in the Transform Name field defaults to the generic file, parttohtml.xsl. If you do not want to use the default, select the transform you want to use from the drop down menu.
