  1. In Automation Desk, click Monitor in the left navigation.
  2. In the upper left corner of the workspace, under Select Type, click Message Streams.
  3. In the Message Streams workspace, above Select Type, click the icon next to Automation Center Status as of date/time to specify the time interval

    In the Select Date/Time dialog box, click to select the appropriate date and time option and click OK. Available options include:

    Fancy Bullets

    • Date/Time. Allows you to limit the time interval from midnight of the current day to the current system time. This option is the default.
    • Date/Time Range. Allows you to limit the time interval by selecting a date and time range.
    • Time Range Only. Allows you to limit the time interval to a specific date and specific time range during that date.
    • Show last # of minutes. Allows you to limit the time interval to the number of minutes prior to the current system time.


  4. Click the double arrow to the right of the workspace to open the Search dialog box.
  5. In the Search dialog box, click the Stream Name drop down and select the message streams whose status you wish to view. Select additional search criteria, if needed, and click the green Search button.Image Removed
  6. Click the message stream whose status you wish to view.

  7. To review file statistics, click a row in the first left bottom pane. To review each message processed in the file, click a message row in the second left bottom pane.
    In the right bottom pane, you see detailed information for the message you selected.
  8. In the right bottom pane, click the Summary, Status, Incoming Message, and Outgoing Messages tabs to view additional message details:

    • In the Summary tab, right click a row and select Copy Selected Tab or Save Message.
    • In the Status tab, right click a row and select Open Location, Copy Selected Tab, Save Message, or Refresh.
    • In the Incoming Message tab and Outgoing Message tab, right click a row and select Copy Selected Tab, Copy in TEC Format, Save Message, or Refresh.


  9. To display the file and the line from where the message originated, in the right bottom pane, click the Status tab, right click the message that has the Location File and select Open Location

  10. To display the stream's execution details in the full pane mode, click  in the right bottom pane. To close the full pane mode, click the X in the Stream Execution Details bottom tab.

  11. To review summary of stream statistics, file statistics, and messages, click Stream Statistics, File Statistics, and Show Messages on the ribbon, respectively. Or, right click the message stream and select from the options on the menu. To narrow down how many messages are displayed, click the Show Messages button and select Last 50, Failed, or Data Errors.
  12. If needed, refresh, print, or export the information displayed in the workspace.
