When you publish reports other users can view, copy and submit the report. You can publish reports to individual users or entire business groups from the Reports Explorer or workspace. You can select these options on the Publish Report dialog box.

Users Folder

Open this folder to select users to publish the report to.

Groups Folder

Open this folder to select groups to publish the report to.

Publish Results

Select this checkbox for all users to whom you want to publish this report.

Show me only users in my group

This options is selected by default. Deselect it to view and publish reports to users in other business groups.

Publish to underlying Groups as well, while publishing to compound groups.

You can identify Compound Business groups by a blue shaded icon.

Select this checkbox to publish to the business groups contained in the compound group. Deselect this option to only publish the selected component directly to the compound group and not allow access by users in the underlying regular business groups.

When you choose to restrict the Report Profile from some User and/or Groups you could:

Select one of the following options:

  • Restrict the report profile and its underlying components. Click the underlying components link to select underlying components to restrict.

  • Restrict the report profile only. Select to restrict only the report profile.
