Define the Linked Data Strategy 

  1. Enter a Name for the Linked Data Strategylinked data strategy.
  2. Enter a Description for the linked data strategy. (Optional).
  3. Under Linked Data Strategy, select the Primary Data Strategy and the Linked Data Strategy from the drop-down list.
  4. Select the Link Type from the drop-down list.
  5. Ensure that the Enabled checkbox has been selected.
  6. Click Next.

Link the Common Fields

  1. In the Fields tab, select the fields you want to link from the Primary data strategy to the Linked data strategy.
  2. After you have made your selections, click Save Save & Close.
    The newly created linked data strategy appears in the Linked Data Strategy is listed among the other Linked data strategiesworkspace.


Edit a Linked Data Strategy

  1. In the Setup left navigation pane, select Data Strategies
    You see the Data Strategies workspace. 
  2. Click the Linked Data Strategies tab. 
    The Data Strategy workspace displays.
  3. From the list of Linked linked data strategies, select the data strategy to edit and from the right-click menu, select Edit.
    You see the Edit Linked Data Strategies wizard.
  4. Edit the linked data strategy following the steps in the Create a Data Strategy procedure.
  5. After completing your edits, click Save & Close
    The newly edited Linked Data Strategy linked data strategy appears in the Linked Data Strategy workspace.


Delete a Linked Data Strategy

  1. In the Setup left navigation pane, select Data Strategies
    You see the Data Strategies workspace. 
  2. Click the Linked Data Strategies tab. 
    The Data Strategy workspace displays.
  3. From the list of linked data strategies, select the data strategy to delete and from the right-click menu, select Delete.
    The system asks you to confirm your selection.
  4. Click Yes. 
    The linked data strategy has been deleted.
