The prepayment analysis options allow you to view the impact to amortized cost prior to releasing third-party cash flows or prepayment assumptions. First you identify the prepayment assumptions you want to use for a security and generate report data. Next, you run the Prepayment Analysis research report. This what-if report shows the impact of applying pending assumptions, including pending third-party cash flows or alternative prepayment speeds, for currently held positions.
With Eagle Accounting, you can:
- Generate Prepayment Analysis Report data
- Run the Prepayment Analysis Report
- Delete Prepayment Analysis Report data
