You can create a Performance calculation report profile to allocate Cash for Carved out segment from the Parent Portfolio.

To allocate cash for carve out:

1. Create a Subportfolio sub-portfolio (SUB) with translation criteria for a particular Segment and ' Cash and Cash Equivalents ' from the parent portfolio.
2. Assign the same parent portfolio as a benchmark to the SUB sub-portfolio created in step #1one.
3. Determine the percentage of the parent portfolio that the SubPortfolio sub-portfolio represents using a Rollup Calculation field.
4. Use the Detail Calculation field to change the weights weight of the cash securities.
5. Reweight Reweigh everything else accordingly.
6. Rolls that Roll this up to a total return for the sub portfolio using the new weight.
7. Another, special configurations are required at the field level to implement the cash allocations and calculate the Carve carve out returns as follows:
   Holdings’ Position Detail regular fields Regular field (security level) for both Portfolio and Benchmark needs need to be configured pointing to ' User Defined ' in the Field Indicatorfield indicator.
   Holdings’ Position regular Regular field (Total total level) for Portfolio portfolio needs to be configured pointing to ' User Defined ' in the field Indicator indicator
   Holdings’ Position regular Regular field (Total total level) for Benchmark benchmark needs to be configured pointing to ' Holdings ' in the field Indicatorindicator
8. Refer the screenshots for the field configuration, which is are unique at benchmark total level Benchmark Total Level field and other fields of portfolio market values.
