  1. In Automation Desk, click Monitor in the left navigation.
  2. In the upper left corner of the workspace, under Select Type, click Jobs/Events.
  3. Click the double arrow to the right of the workspace to open the Search dialog box.
  4. In the Search dialog box, click the Event Type drop down and select Message Stream Process. To view all message stream events that are scheduled and waiting to run, click to select Scheduled Start Date Time. To view all events with a specific Effective Date, click to select Effective Date.
  5. Select additional search criteria, if needed, and click the green Search button.
  6. Click the scheduled message stream whose status you wish to view. In addition to reviewing stream statistics and details, you can right click and select, for example, to download the event log or reset the scheduled message stream to run again.
  7. In the first left bottom pane, in the Stream Summary tab, click a row to view file statistics. To review each message processed in the file, click a message row in the second left bottom pane.
    In the right bottom pane, you see detailed information for the message you selected.
  8. In the right bottom pane, click the Summary, Status, Incoming Message, and Outgoing Messages tabs to view additional message details:

    • In the Summary tab, right click a row and select Copy Selected Tab or Save Message.
    • In the Status tab, right click a row and select Open Location, Copy Selected Tab, Save Message, or Refresh.
    • In the Incoming Message tab and Outgoing Message tab, right click a row and select Copy Selected Tab, Copy in TEC Format, Save Message, or Refresh.


  9. To display the stream's execution details in the full pane mode, click  in the right bottom pane. To close the full pane mode, click the X in the Message Stream Process Execution Details bottom tab.
  10. To review summary of stream statistics, file statistics, and messages, click Stream Statistics, File Statistics, and Show Messages on the ribbon, respectively. To narrow down how many messages and which type of messages are displayed for the specified time interval, click the Show Messages button and select Last 50, Failed, or Data Errors.
  11. If needed, refresh, print, or export the information displayed in the workspace.
