You can customize the extract by using only several fields from the main Data Object without using any other child Data Objects (mashups), as shown below in Taxonomy mapping. 

There is an instance performance benefit in removing unnecessary fields from the taxonomy definition. The request is automatically optimized to remove unused columns and even whole tables from the query.

Use Taxonomy Mapping Mode

After you select the main data object for your interface and click Create, you see the EBS EDS Worksheet. You can use Taxonomy mapping mode there. In Taxonomy mapping mode, the main Data Object you chose is at the left and the Taxonomy is at the right.

Map a Field to the Taxonomy

To map a field from the main Data Object to the Taxonomy, use a drag-and-drop operation to drag a field from the main Data Object to a Taxonomy field. See the following figure. 

Change the Name of Output Fields

You can change the Name of output fields by clicking the name you want to change and typing a new name.

Calculated Field Examples
