This section describes the steps required to install Performance Toolkit 2.0.

All the sleeves of performance are installed with this one process so there is no need to install each one individually. The Generic Interfaces are included with the product, so there are no additional steps required to install the interfaces.

Installation Assumptions

The installation and setup procedures in this guide make the following assumptions:

• You are a new Eagle Performance client that runs daily performance, and you are installing Eagle Version 10.1.1 or higher.

This guide assumes that you do not currently use a prior version of Eagle Performance, Eagle Performance Toolkit, or Eagle Mart Packaged Reports. If you are an existing Eagle Performance client with your own configuration, and/or if your configuration is based on Performance Toolkit V1.0, it is likely that you will require additional configuration to install Performance Toolkit 2.0 on your Eagle Performance environments. Eagle recommends that you perform the setup process in a test environment and suggests that you contact your Eagle Client Operations Manager (COM) for information about engaging Eagle’s Global Professional Services team.

• You currently use or intend to use Eagle Data Mart to store and report on Performance data. The Performance Toolkit is designed for use with Data Mart. Existing Eagle clients that prefer not to use Data Mart can use a subset of Toolkit functionality, such as a GIPS presentation report, OLAP reports, and calculation fields.

• You can set up all or some of the available Performance Toolkit sleeves. While the installation process installs information required for all sleeves, you can perform the setup for one or more Performance Toolkit sleeves, as needed.
