The Calendars default message stream is used for calendar processing. With Calendar processing, the initial Add procedure generates a Calendar Name and Instance as well as inserts records for all Saturdays and Sundays, flagging these dates as Non-Business Dates for the calendar year sent.

Calendar transactions are loaded using the following streams:

  • eagle_default_in_csv_calendars
  • eagle_default_in_star_calendars

[Sample records, required data fields, as well as [ panels, binds, and stored procedures for the Calendars stream are described in the following pages.

To review the results of processing in the database, use Query Calendar Information under the Admin category in Eagle Accounting.

To further define the calendar, an update record must be processed for each specific date that you wish to mark as a Non-Business day/holiday.

...

By default, the last calendar year for which data exists is brought back to tag 1943 during the Add Years process.
