To manually override the status of one or more records:
In Performance Center, click Performance Desk and select Data Quality Monitor in the left navigation.
You see the Data Quality Monitor workspace displaying the last viewed heat map.Click the checkbox(es) next to the record(s) you want to override and click Update Status on the ribbon. Or, right-click a record and select Update Status.
You see the Change Status dialog box.Select the New Status (Error, Warning, Pass) and Reason Code (Data Error, Data Reviewed, Needs Further Review, Potential Data Issue) from the drop-down lists, and then enter Comments and click Submit.
You see the Overrides Confirmation dialog box displaying the Old Status and New Status of the selected records.Click OK to confirm the override and create a Pending record. Or, click Cancel to withdraw the change.
To view all of the pending updates, click Pending Approvals on the ribbon .
You see records with an Approval Status of Manual Override Pending in a separate window, displaying two options, Authorize and Reject.To commit the changes, select the appropriate record(s) and click Authorize, then click Save.
The Approval Status value changes from Manual Override Pending to Manual Override Approved.To discard the changes, select the appropriate record(s) and click Reject, then click Save. The Status is not updated and remains in Manual Override Pending status.
Override Status with Date Rules
In Data Quality Monitor, you can also override the status of validation rules by applying an override rule for a single day or a date range. Applying a date rule ensures that the updated status will not be changed in the event of a rerun of the Performance Calculation or Automation Center.

To override the status with a date rule:

Click Date Range Rule, select the End Date, and then click Submit.
The Overrides Confirmation screen displays the pending rule. Click OK to create the pending rule.
To view Pending and Approved Rules select Setup in the left navigation of Performance Center and then click Status Overrides Rules.
You see the Status Overrides Rules workspace.Click Pending Rules on the ribbon.
You see the Pending Rules dialog box.To commit the changes, select the appropriate record(s) and click Authorize.
The Approval Status changes from Pending to Authorized.Click Save to commit the changes. Or, click Cancel to close the dialog box without any change.
To reject the changes, select the appropriate record(s) and click Reject.
The Approval Status changes from Pending to Rejected.Click Save to commit the changes. Or, click Cancel to close the dialog box without any change.
Status Audit
In the Data Quality Monitor, you can use the Status Audit ribbon item to view all status audit changes or select a specific record. You can also right click to view the status audit changes to review specific changes.
Status Audit Permissions
In the System Management Center, you can control the permissions for functions associated with the Status Audit functionality. To maintain permissions, go to the System Management Center, select Performance Center Roles, and then click the Data Quality Monitor tab. The options in the Data Quality Maintenance section are described below.
