You can change the returns that were calculated. The new returns are committed to the database. Note that this function does not adjust the underlying cash activity and position date, it only adjusts the returns.
To edit derived returns:
In the Performance Calculation report, select the return that you want to adjust.
Choose the Maintain Data icon.
Choose the Edit Performance Return option.
The Edit Performance Return dialog box appears with the current value. See the following figure.

Enter the new value that you want to appear on the report and choose Save.
The new value now appears on the Performance Calculation report with a blue box around it. See the following figure. At this point the new return has not been inserted into the PERFORM database.

Commit the Performance Calculation report to record the newly edited return to the database.
Your changes are also updated in the Data Editing journal, as shown in the following figure.
To access this journal, select the return in the Performance Calculation report, and choose the Maintain Data option, Performance Return Maint. Journal.

If you recalculate the returns, then the return before data editing is recalculated. This is because the return calculator is using the cash and holdings records to calculate the return.
