Portfolio Data Center (PDC) is a centralized component which empowers business users to build, maintain and evaluate entity reference data according to an exception-based workflow. PDC is an Eagle Data Management system that provides a platform for incorporating data governance principles (such as validations, authorizations, required fields, enrichments) into the daily workflow to help ensure data integrity for portfolio reference data.

Portfolio Data Center allows you to access the data management features of the Eagle product suite. With Portfolio Data Center, data management teams can apply principles of data governance to the entities you manage with Eagle. Using PDC, you can apply pre-emptive validations while maintaining entities, keeping bad data out of production workflows. Also, you can create workflows as policies that the system applies to the targeted groups of entities. Policies validate and cleanse entity reference data that your firm has received through an internal manual setup or from an external data file.
